Unfortunately this Blue Morpho has seen better days, they have striking blue markings on the topside of their wings, & are very colourful in flight.

I do see the rips in his wings guess he had a hard knock life, but at least he is enjoying a tasty breakfast of fresh fruit...super close up Phil!

The Blue Morphos must be a fighting breed of butterfly. I've seen a lot of them with their wings all torn up. Super focus and color in this shot, Phil. Very well done.
