coronado heights is just west of lindsborg, kansas (about an hour north of wichita). it is a spot where in 1541 coronado stayed. interesting place; out in the middle of the prairie, there is a mountain -- in kansas terms :) this "castle" was built in the 1930's. it's a great look out point to see the kansas wind move the winter wheat like waves on the water; and see dirt roads that go on forever. just another hidden jewel in the kansas prairie :) this photo is completely in the raw -- just happened to be a perfect kansas day!!

One of my favorite places to go! The acoustics in the 1st floor are amazing. You should try playing an instrument in there. Just reverberates awesomely. It's a bit of a drive from Longford though! :-)
