One of our peaks here in the Cascade Range. The forest was first ravaged by the Pine Beetle, and then a lightning strike set off a massive forest fire that cleared most everything away (including the beetle). It's slowly coming back.

Hope at least the beetle has had it but insects are renown for being resilient pests. A fine mountain scene.

A fire can be a good catalyst for growth, and this beautiful view looks like the restoration is well on its way. Really nice!

Saw in the past some images of this area. It's ravaged now indeed.
Hope that nature can show her strength, so that a new forest will grow there.

Nature certainly has a way of taking care of the earth - this area will again thrive and become a beautiful ecological environment for flora and fauna - Great Capture and Narrative!!!:-):-):-)
