I gave up the fast lane yesterday for a black top county road around the neighborhood where I snagged this old farmstead and a bigger piece of sky, my radio playin', my window rolled down. Near Culver, Oregon, USA.

"A Bigger Piece Of Sky".. with some added visual interest on the notes of the decaying wood structure, tree(s) and.. hey.. why not? Let's throw a mountain in there as well.

The weathered tones of the wood of the structure, adding in the greens and yellows of the grasses.. and then, that of the blue sky make for quite the visual feast.

Nicely composed.

And..

A +favs for me.

And..

A thank you, for sharing this one with us, Ted.

... ...

".. my radio playin'.. ."

Inquiring minds are curious as to what was playing?

This one would have fit the aural bill well.

It's Mt. Jefferson...where I live there are 9 such peaks and Jefferson and Hood are but 2.
