There's a Saturday Market that is quite large and runs from April-December. The last time I was there I was walking by the booths and was really taken by the looks of this fellow who had a booth selling handmade custom wedding bands. I thought he was quite striking looking so I walked up and asked him if he minded if I took his photo. He was quite gracious and allowed me to do that and then we both went on about our business. Portland, Oregon, USA.

Outstanding portraiture, Ted, as good in black & white as in the one of the beautiful woman in "Looking Out the Window." In hers, color was necessary to capture those gorgeous eyes; in this one black & white to capture the smoothness of this guy's complexion and the subtle lighting that was present.

This is excellent, and he is a good looking fellow and has lots of character, and you nailed it. It would have been nice if you could have shared this with him later. I think he would have been most impressed with this portrait. I hope you will enter this into the challenge.
