One of the more interesting views of the city is from the roof of Galeries Lafayette. It's almost 360 degrees. Here one can see the gold plated statuary atop Opera Garnier, one wing of Musee du Louvre beyond it, and the domed portion of Le Sorbonne beyond that. But to me, the most interesting piece is the green dome of the opera house, with its faces--each different from the other--and the ornate art around each o f the windows. Paris, France; July, 2016.

Man, there's so much detail to look at and absorb in this shot--definitely into my favorites--and there appears to be a glassed-in walkway between the two buildings in the foreground. I also see a maintenance ladder running up the right side of the green dome's top. A helluva way to get to the roof... so, is that how you got up here? By braving a maintenance ladder?
