Those little guys are really hard to capture, either by hand or by camera. You can just see them out of the corner of your eye, but they're so fast they are gone by the time you bring the camera up to your eye. And forget about framing one in the shot! I just missed one in this photo, darn it! On the way to the parking lot from Aughnanure Castle, near Oughterard, Co. Galway, Ireland.

A beautifully enchanted image of a woodland with a hint of a dwelling place in the thicket. The stream makes it magical. Good composition my friend.

I agree with you, Ted. To capture leprechauns is a 'mission impossible', not only because of their tiny size, but they are very dynamic and fast as well. The next time you have to use an IR camera, else you'll be disappointed again, ☺ !
