Before I retired, I use to pass this place twice a month and could watch the gradual changing of colors. I had to make a quick trip down past here a week or so ago and was able to capture this one. Beaver Marsh area along US Highway 97, Oregon.

The HDR sure worked it's magic on this one. The color of the trees is striking against that sky. I think our color is going to be blah this year. tigs=^..^=

This is the kind of autumn coloring--in sky and trees--I would expect to see over a mountain stream, but in this case it makes even the intrusion of man acceptable.
