I made the mistake of walking into a huge one in Oklahoma that I literally had to fight to break through (glad I didn't run into what made it). With frost on this web of yours, I have to wonder how long it had been in that tree. Just how early or cold is winter in Oregon, anyway? .......... Okay, I Googled it... winter there is an average of 42 degrees? Really? We're lucky to have 42 degrees on Halloween. No wonder you found a spiderweb! Oregon spiders must wear tiny coats from Burlington. I really dig hoar frost photos (we get it a lot here) but this has to be a first for me. Very cool. S&F.

The West side of Oregon gets those temps, Nik. Here in the high desert of the central part of the state it is not unusual to get down into the single digits overnight for weeks at a time in the Winter. Certainly we do go weeks and weeks were it never gets above freezing here, day or night.
