I was rushing to catch the boat (they were actually holding it for just me) when I jogged past the Wine Museum and just had to stop and shove my camera through the gate railing to snap this shot. Still made the boat down the Rein. Ruedesheim, Germany; June, 2018.

Ted, you've depicted the Boosenburg situated in Ruedesheim. The castle has belonged to a winery, but it's in fact not a wine museum.

In (the vicinity of) Ruedesheim there's a wine museum however: the Rheingauer Weinmuseum Broemserburg, located in castle Broemserburg/Niederburg.

Although taken in a hurry, a wonderful capture however! S+F! Thanks!

Cornelius: Interesting because there was a sign in front that said "Wine Museum Entrance" and so I thought that's what it was. Thanks for clarifying.

The perspective in this shot gives the illusion of walking down the path. Nice capture for sure!

I do like the architecture here, and the lead-in of the sidewalk and flowering bushes framing the walk. I think I might have moved just a tiny bit to the left, however, being the slave to symmetry and centering that I am. Then again, if you had very little time to compose it through the gate, then I fully understand. There is so darn much to look at in this capture I'll just have to put it right into my favs to study more, later.
