I kinda like the grain - makes it look like an old photograph...Hmmm....yet it's futuristic...lol! anyhoo...It is a little pixelated on the coil to the left near the top. It caught my eye right off and got me to look and that is important. And as phil said - it does make a nice desktop...blue would be really cool too. ; )

Like the contrast and that it makes you wonder. Does look slightly grainy but like the green and the electric. Red would look marvelous but might not give the same electric feel. More like fire. Fire's always good though =) Oh and compliments on the ball, for some reason it ties it together well.

I think the grainyness is ok....like a distortion effect from the coils. Nice work.

was the grain intentional? it both adds and subtracts from the over all effect of the picture, depending on your taste. I would like to see a smooth one, for comparison sake. good job though.
