This reminds me of a lost soul getting sucked into a vortex leading to the 4th dimension- I like how vibrant the background is- nicely done!

I like the background a lot, I like the head and I like the idea, but I don't like where the head is placed (sorry I don't want to offend your hard work). Have you tried placing the bright spot of the background right behind the forehead? I'd like to see that.
