Testimony to the sturdy construction of The Castle, even Explosive demolition of Corfe left much of the huge stone work relatively undamaged... but the castle's hilltop position and subsequent ground slippage has caused one side of this archway to fall over a meter and a half! But the rooms within each half remain intact.

This is quite an impressive pic methinks....i like the hues in this & the dirty lens type look thats bleeding into the borders. very nice. & the perspective is pretty sweet too.very good degree of depth from the cam POV. : D

Very cool manipulation Graeme. I like how the filtering has softened the image but not taken away from the actual stone work. I guess it sort of has a game atmosphere to it. Makes a great desktop, thanks;-)

thank you Darryl and Avi..lol.. now that you mention it.. it could be from a game couldn't it.. actually looking at it now it reminds me of some of the images used in a fantasy based kids tv game show that used a lot of computer generated images.. Knightmare .... lol as always with my images ..WARNING SUBTLE DETAILS... please look full screen ;)

although in the orignal photo there was a lady( my good friend sarah) standing in the middle of the archway and another person walking up the path seen through the arch.....but i edited them out long before i started to filter it up :D
