yummy......i wish i was there too, i understand this one a lot better & i like it alot too. see the shadow in the middle didnt make any sense to me until the black borders were added. def a peach : ) the textures on the coconut trees, spot on....& i have a thing for coconut trees....natures fireworks they are. such versatile trees, the only thing that doesnt get used are the roots, & they can be used for fire so...really all of the tree gets used, but i prefer them alive & well.....damn i miss them, the sightr of them...sigh

anyhoo, a nostalgic 10 for this methinks in memory of the 5 & a half coconut trees that were in our garden in Sri Lanka

Glad i could make it clearer for you... i just thought that the pure black border would be a little harsh... but im getting used to it :D.. i still enjoy the border on the other... but i can see where you found fault... i guess the lower border needs tweaking so that the central shadow isnt so free floating.. but then again who knows ;)

There are so many pictures out there showing the clear blue waters and white sandy beaches, but I think you got the best side of it by making it a piece of cubism. I like it a lot, and the borders add a very definite well, um, border to the pic :) It appeals very much to dreaminess...I like it very much. Oh, and the title's great too. :) Nice work, Graeme!
