I think I'm finally happy with it. but if anyone has any fine-tuning sugestions...?? As usual stock.xchng has provided it's bounty. And an extra 'thank you' to Louise for letting me use her photo. Original unedited stock images can be seen HERE. . I have taken some of the suggestions and reworked the image to make this Seraphim

sweet. It looks a little too blurred, full screen. Sharpening it up a bit would make it look just right.

I don't think it is the blurr that makes it a little confusing, but where the blurr is in respect to our perspective. Her hand, which is closest to us, is a quite blurry while her face which is farther away is much sharper. I think that if you made the Hand much sharper, it would give this image much more depth. Other than that, this image has a great concept and you did a nice job.

incredible what you've created. I mean you used those images soooo welll.... aw yeah maybe a little sharper but i've got no right to complain.

i was playing around with the focus of the image.. i had the hand in super sharp but i wasn't that happy with having the face blured, so i was trying to focus on the face so i blurred the hand as it would be so close to the camera!.. i might play around with the layers a bit more if i saved them before i started my blur rampage!!! ..erm.. whoops! i might not have!!! :D

Archangel Louise, eh? I must have missed that one in bible class. Great manipulation, though. I love the background and the color tones you used. They give an "Illuminated Manuscript" air to the image.
