gearing up to start on my 'Card image' i have started to work on a elfen picture! just in it's farily rough starting state! but i wanted to get some content suggestions! before i work on it properly!
Hehe, I think this looks pretty cool as it is ^_^
Not sure if I'm too keen on the orange - maybe green? - but never mind! This still looks awesome (especially as it has an elf on it :P)
Well done!
Small on a card you might loose some of the details in the dark, like her piercings unless these will be photo quality prints. I'd like to see more mystical glow at the end of the column of trees to balance her face's hot spots and more defined points on her ears. But as a wallpaper it's a keeper and the color is wonderful
thanks everyone! first off i was wanting to do a green one for the final version! but i came a cross the forest photo and it had been shot with a great filter, thats the colour of the photo really!
As for the level of the blur! that particular picture was a fairly poor focus! but i wanted to play about with it first, i have some higher quality photos of her to use!
this is not the actual card image! but expect to see it soon! but your right im going to have to think slightly differently dealing with such a small image area! i'll give this one a tweek later on then with your suggestions & see what i can come up with!
Hi Graeme
Isn't much left to wish in this picture.
Its very nice...i guess the forrest could have some more mystical atmposhere.
Older trees, little fog or so.
But he...were do you find such place?
The girl with the piercings has a very elfenlike appearence.
So i think you did a wonderful job with her and the forrest.
Only thing i can say is ...make more shots with her and find new expiriments with this theme.
Good luck

haha... really like the red and the creepy darkness of both her face and the forest. The blur and the light on her skin adds to it as well. The green one is nice as well but her facial expression is a little odd. Really enjoying your work.
