Terrific capture with wonderful clarity and lots of depth and terrific composition. Well done and glad you shared this one.

I'm doing environmental science studies at the moment and this picture conjures up thoughts of poor forest management and maximum sustainable yeild!
BUT back to what you actually want to hear. I really like the image, in terms of colour content its really very simple, varying shades of green in the grass, dark green of the trees, dark dark green of the water. grey of the tree stumps and stones(I like the similarity there, kind of emphasises that the trees are dead like stone), and sky blue.
The foreground is a grand piece of work, exellent, but the sky and background(lake and hills) seem to me to make the image seem flat...Like there isn't enough depth there. Hurm...not sure if I'm getting my point across very well. Message me if you need another explanation.
Still a good shot however, keep it up.
