I like this perspective. I love the rich blues and the light transitions. Holding a piece of paper up I crop tested just above the lamp post and enjoyed that as well. Neat shot.

The other one looked completely CG, but this one looks much more like an actual photograph. The darkened out sides are a neat touch.

Even though I have never been to New York, I love what you have done with the picture and the setting. First of all, the sky is increadably blue, which is usally very hard to find in downtown New York. Second, your use of boarders was perfect. I like how the building lead up the picture. Kudos and one of my favs!

I think this shot is a great opportunity to use HDR to bring out some detail on those shadows.
