In my opinion if it was cropped closer to the hawk while still leaving some of the dark sky on the outside edges, that it would bring more attention to the Hawk. Other than that I love how the sky behind the Hawk draws some attention to the center of the photo. The colors and lighting gives it a great mysterious feeling to it. Great job on that part. The framing makes this obviously. Personally I would prefer it if the bird were to the left or right rather than centered (thinking rule of thirds here).
