Really good shot, the green is so,,,um green...I would have cut the trunk on the right of the photo out to make it a perfect 10/10 otherwise excellent. Cheers. Al.
Yeah, it is very green. I took the photo out near the golf course on campus. The color and shadow were courtesy of the beautiful weather and unobstructed sun!
Agree with all above. I might have cropped out the tree trunk to make it look more surrealistic :)..however, the trunk gives me a place to put my icons! Good eye for a great photo. Thank you.
Excellent picture. I has good contrast between the black shadow and green grass. It is so clear you can almost tell the type of growth and branching that this tree has. I give it a 10/10. Good Job!
"When I think of God, I think of what I can see, smell, taste, feel and benefit from; then I walk outside. I will not be controlled by any religion, I will simply bathe in the warmth of the sun and take within me, the sweetness of the earth. This is the only God I know and I will NEVER fear him!"
The capture of the shadows thrown down by the tree is excellent. The idea of using this for a composition is excellent. You have a good photographer's eye for what works. But, I don't like the shade of green. For me, something is unnatural about it. Did you run this through a photo editor to see what color correction it might offer? What makes me think the color is off is the tree trunk. It has a green cast to it as well. Maybe I am all wet since I havn't seen anybody else mention it. Oh well, consentrate on the positives mentioned in the beginning and keep on shooting.
