This is a rework of the image I uploaded last night. There was a spot in the background that I had missed in photoshop that I went in and changed. Orange is Acer saccharum, red is Acer rubrum, and green is Acer saccharinum. Hope you like!

Greg - this is a great comparative image. The colors emphasize the differences. How about trying to gather leaves that are not partly dried out - even pick them off the trees (if you can reach). Then try this image with fresh unwrinkled specimens. Just a thought. This one is splendid as is - hope you don't misunderstand! a 10 and in my favs as well as my downloads. ~ Jan

Crisp image. Its good to see wrinkled leaves in the spotlight once in a while. These leaves capture fall colours perfectly. The black background adds a smart contemporary quality.

There is a japaneese word that means something is beautiful because of it's flaws, and I think the leaves in this compsition are a testiment to that. I think the word is WABI, the image is fantastic.
