This picture tells a story. It is perhaps a buggy hired to transport a bride and groom who may be in the basilica right now. It is gently raining because there is a girl with an umbrella in the distance and small puddles about the wet pavement. Perhaps someone has given food to the horse and the morsels that fell to the ground are being scavenged by the pidgeons. I love a picture that has different possible meanings. The dark horse and the white carriage make a striking contrast and the red of the flowers brightens up the otherwise grayness of the day. This is a great, unique photo. Thank you for posting it.
