Amazing shot. It really has something from an airoplane. I also love the colors and the beautiful light. Very good job done!

Astonishing capture with a perfect perspective on the take!! Eye poppin' colors and dy-no-mite DOF makes this baby really sing!!

Picture Purrrfect . You never see advertisements for string…they make string, yet you never see a commercial for string!!

I have to exclaim like everyone else here! This is STUNNING! You have a very distinct foreground and background, foreground is amazingly sharp and detailed. Background is light and floaty, with good contrast with the foreground. The flower and butterfly are beautiful together as well. I am totally downloading this one! Ash

Diane, if this doesn't make the permanent gallery, I'm going to want to know the reason why...this is awesome, and I don't think I need to say anything more :)

This is a wonderfull shot. The orange on the Monarch and the orange of the flower complimenting eachother, the perfect symetry of the insect. It takes my breath away. When I brough it up full size, I had to go get my 11 year old (who loves butterflies) and show her this. This is definitely going in my favorites!

Hello Diane....The above comments say it all about this picture...Colourful, sharp and a nice blurred background...I have a tip for you when taking shots of butterflies...Spray the flowers with sugary water and you will find that the butterfly is attracted to the flower and they stay much longer giving you more time for fantastic shots of these beautiful creatures...Well done....All the best...Mick.
