Looks good overall, I like the angle that you shot shot this at. The only thing I'd say is that the fence in the background is just a tad over exposed. Other than that, nicely done.

Actually I really enjoy this! The pitchfork in the ground, what a great idea!! And the wooden fence with the wires, the string and the rusty nails! What a real true artistic posting! You've got a great way of seeing something. Maybe the white of the fence could be 'touched up' a tiny bit, but other than that this is just a most enjoyable photo. Verena

Light travels faster than sound. This is why some people appear bright until you hear them speak.

I, too, like your image here ... in particular, the 'high key' presentation.

Being bold here, I will however agree with College on the slightly over-exposed areas.

Solution?

Not sure if you are aware of this functionality of your camera, stiil and with that said ... forging ahead:

"Understanding... Exposure Compensation" (indepth look, still worth a perusal.)

"Exposure Lock"

So, in short ... you depress your shutter button half-way down to lock your exposure and then move to focus.

And depending on your camera's capabilities, the selection of metering modes applicable to what you are shooting is an important consideration, too.

Dig into your camera's manual, or online for same (Exposure Lock and Compensation, to be clear) ... it's in there, rest assured.

On both counts of the above links.

Definitely can tell there was some aforethought prior to clicking regardless. Interesting composition ... that works, to my eyes

Tame the lighting some ... easily and readily kick things up a notch or two.

And, but of course ... thank you for sharing your photographic pursuits with us. The use of the pitchfork as a framing device is cool cool. :o)

Came back to your image's page here, 'cause in reading my drivel above ... realized I was all over the place. Let's try again ...

First impression?

"High Key" presentation. Which, can be very effective and strong visually.

The over-exposed references?

Being frank here, the comments still stand ... if ... and only if, it was not an intended goal to present a high key image to us.

The linkage stuff?

Just some creative and technical food for thought for you on placing some more control in your hands with respect to that of challenging or not ideal, lighting conditions when you are out and about.

The +favs?

That still stands. Kudos for your creative efforts, in short and well-deserved in my books and humble opinion.

Keep shooting ... and happy shooting. :o)

Annnnnd ... done.
