Love all the vertical chimneys(?) looks like sentrys down the street. It's still cobbled isn't it? It's been kept very authentic except for the lampost. nice time of year for it too. good shot, thanks for posting it.

Thanks for posting this really nice shot. You have really managed to capture the calm atmosphere and the weight of time. Along with your picture of the glassworks of the cathedral, this really gives the "vibe" of this part of Wells (I've spent many summers in Wells, it's a special place for me). Thanks for sharing these.

I have to say the same as morrison here. I live 10 seconds away from this street. Very nice image. The trees to the far right have since been cut down which is a bit of a shame although you can now see more of the buildings!
