Let me tell ya somethin hiker. This was not an easy shot to capture because of the colors. No particular one stands out from the others. But, you did an excellent job of making it possible to discern the girl with the book balanced on her crossed legs, from the background. The composition "talks". For whatever reason, I could stare at this a long time and contemplate right along with her. This has a lot of astheic appeal.

I agree with Pat, Hiker, well done for the conditions. Any flash would have wiped out shadows necessary for depth and detail... maybe you could have entitled it, "Wrong Spell..." :)

The similarity of the colors of the tree and the statue made it seem, at first glance, that the statue was carved from the tree. Extremely interesting image.

I too thought this was somehow carved into the tree at first! It is a cool capture!
