I took this photo of the entrance to Misquamicut Beach (Rhode Island) from the parking lot on 7/14/06 (hopefully you can stand to look at yet another shoreline photo). I enjoy this beach greatly and always have been somehat soothed by it (ever since I was about 4 years old...). I hope you find it somewhat soothing as well. This also happens to be my first foray into any sort of "framing/bordering" effect, so am curious as to what the experts out there think of it <gulp>. Thanks for any constructive criticism!

I like how the picture kind of opens up where the grass ends; it winds up with a nice effect that is very calming.

How inviting...and peaceful this is. I like the different shades on the bushes from the sunshine. Very nicely presented. Thanks for sharing this. Anita

OH my! I adore the shadows crossing the little pathway, and how I love these spots on the beach, I have many of them I go to also. Those old fences are precious, and the way you just gave a bit of a teazing with that dab of the sea....its fantastic. I caN feel myself right there...listening to the sea, and as I walk closer and closer, it becomes louder and I get filled with energy....gosh I love the ocean..and the sand..thank you thank you for such a most beautiful photo.and its going onto my desktop immediately....verena

I've stood right there and walked down that same path! Well, one of them. They're very similar, aren't they? Gorgeous capture, makes me long for Misquamicut and Westerly, where I won't be going for the first summer ever. Thanks for sharing this.
