This was taken yesterday looking out over Pineview reservoir from my dad's back patio. The most incredible storm was in progress. Big black clouds moved in with the constant rumble of thunder and it got extremely dark and rained and hailed intensely for just a couple of minutes. Within a couple more minutes the sun came out and shone brightly on the rain and hail falling and looking out over the storm it looked as if diamonds were falling out of the sky. Within a couple more minutes this rainbow showed up. We stood out on the deck sopping wet but would not have missed a minute of it.

Verrry nice, Kim. Usually, I would say that the houses and power lines at the bottom should be cut out, but in this case I think they add to this image.
