Took the ATV's up on top of the Wasatch Mountains this weekend with my family. The sun was getting close to the horizon and was quite harsh....being as the family was more interested in getting a good ride in....I was unable to get a sunset shot....the views from up on top were incredible! I hope you enjoy this. ~Kim

Woo, the composition is indeed good. And the view is just spectacular. With such a great compo it is a shame that this seems a bit too dark? A great vista like this, I think is just crying for a little manip to make is better visible.

Oh wait, maybe it is this monitor, it just is not that good.
I will check this at home and get back to this comment. =)

A beautiful panorama indeed and well captured, Kim. I wish it were a bit lighter towards the front to see the details more clearly. Very nice job!

Kim - What a view! The low angle of the sun made it hard to capture a balanced-lighting shot, so the foreground is a bit dark. However, it only slightly diminishes from the amazing vista you present in the photo. Thad

A very nice panorama with lots of complexity and moody, surreal lighting. Definitely a perfect situation for a split ND filter - I've been meaning to get a few myself. Well done.

It may be a bit dark but it's an excellent example of this time of day, when late sunlight, streaming in at a severe angle, lays a veil over our eyes. We're seeing it as it actually is and there's never anything wrong with truth in photography, dear girl. I'd love to see a variety of shots from this same spot—early morning, afternoon, sunset—through all the seasons.
