I step along a powdered path
As winter's silence surrounds
Autumn leaves cling on as winter's snow
Descends and covers all color
Though still and silent it may be
Playful gusts find and rustle
The last remaining raspy leaves
And as I pass through
Winter whispers
Her deepest secrets to me.
I do not know what this plant is but I found their white papery leaves fascinating. Thought it might be fun to toss it into the current contest.
Very beautiful! I cannot remember what these are called either but they make for a great looking scene against that snow. This will make for a great contest entry. I wish you the best of luck with this great post.
