He might not look so aninmated here....but he is noticing something. Within a few seconds he was in the water and playing. I have no photos of that though....sometimes you just have to set the camera aside and enjoy the show without looking through the lens.

Kim - A nice photo of this big bear. Good to watch them from a distance. They are stealth-like hunters. There is a saying in the northlands, in the Arctic snow and ice, that when you first spot a polar bear, it is too late (for you)! Thad
