this is great too however i think the slightly scorched highlights and lack of saturation in the centre of the flower detract from it slightly. still an excellent addition to the series all the same.

Well, I'm typically not a huge fan of flower photos, however this is very nice. The shadow going across the flower detracts from it a bit, but that can't really be helped. Altogether, it's a very nice photo. And I love the way it was cropped.

This reminds me of a clear spring day and wild flowers ran rampant in the field behind our house.
Good memories there.
Great picture!

I like the whole concept here Emerson. The shadow doesn't bother me, in fact, I think it adds some drama to the image. As far as the highlights being "slightly scorched", that's what happens when the main subject's exposed correctly, especially in a strong light situation. The only way to change that would be to shoot the same image either in shadow or on an overcast day. Personally, if it had been shot under those circumstances, I think a lot of impact would have been lost.
Excellent capture and 10 x10 from me.

I like the concept and framing a lot here. If I were to change anything I'd remove the signature and move the flower off to the right slightly, the dead-center framing doesn't sit with me somehow. Excellent focus.
