Well, considering you've gotten a 66 on the C index, you must be doing something right :) I do like lighthouses and I put this one on my desktop last night. I thought that it would look better in color, but the more I viewed it up close and personal, the more I liked it as posted. I would, however, next time (and I have to watch myself on this one is probably the only reason I noticed it) the horizon line seems to be slanting a bit to the left...not a lot, but just a tiny bit. It could be fixed in a software program, but I think my difficulty with this particular problem, in my own case, is that I don't have a SLR and my digital doesn't really let me compose my shots to a "T" like I am used to. I can't really see through the viewfinder or the screen what is actually going to come out, but I hope to remedy that soon. I love digital, but I cut my teeth on film and being able to and having to compose on the fly, so I'm saving up for a digital SLR..whew..hope I didn't bore you. Nice photo :)PJ
i have some great pics of this lighthouse too. imagine my surprise to see this posted.. you did a great job. i get warm memories thinking of my trip to chicago.
