Want to thank Tee for allowing me to Manip his photo Snow Day. Just thought it might look good in B&W, then thought I would make the eyes stand out a bit!

I do like this, Bob. It didn't occur to me to try this in grayscale but I like the look of it. And the blue eyes have made her a cyber-dog - a terminator - invincible to all. Beware cats of the world. Arrrrrrrrrrnold would love her! Good job - :)

Just a couple of pointers really - as a rework this should really be posted in the rework gallery to avoid confusion. The reworked image should really be a significant change that alters or improves upon the original. The original in this case was quite desaturated to begin with so the switch to full monochrome is not immediately noticeable. Perhaps you could have swung it much further away by really ramping up the contrast to the point of scorching out pale areas that would have had a much more dramatic reworked look as well as drawing attention to the coloured eyes.

It's a beautiful face no matter what gallery it goes into.

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being. - Hermes

Wow I had the first one in my Favs before, guess I'll have 2 : ) I can't say that I like one better than the other because I like them for diffrent reasons. The first has a soft and sweet beauty to it and the 2nd has a striking beauty. Thanks for sharing what a big diffrence in mood color can create!

it's good except the color you chose doesn't look like a realistic eye color, it makes it look really fake.
