This is The Commando memorial at Spean Bridge, a few miles north of Fort William. The Commandos trained here during WWII and this was built in their memory. From the back you can see Ben Nevis but from this view we`re looking to Glen Roy. The inscription reads 'United We Conquer'

last time i went here, it rained all week, we were camping in glen nevis , my other half climbed to the top of ben nevis on the only sunny day we had, and managed to leave the camera on a rock half way down! lol, he climbed half way back up again to see if he could find it, i did my nut and made him buy me a new camera and then he climbed it again on a more rainy day to retake his shots! whadda week!

Why do the pictures come out square when the lens is round?? Picture Purrrfect .
Great shot, I took my Dad to see this a few years ago, he was there, you can see him in my gallery.....
