I was telling my friend Gordon (Zorrofox) that I was planning a camping tour of Scotland he recommended going up to Wester Ross and a few places there. One of the places was Applecross....He did not tell me to get there you got to drive over mountain on a single track road rising from sea level to 2054ft in less than 6 miles and the final series of hairpin bends are a drive to be remembered. I got a bad fear of hights and was terrified. I managed to take one shot on the way up and had to point the camera and hope for the best so quite a bit of editing was done. Bealach Na Ba means 'Pass of the Cattle' I could have passed something else I can tell you! On the way up I was panicking and my wife and daughter were laughing at me......by the time we got up here they weren`t laughing any more!

I recommend closing one's eyes when driving on scary roads Ian........that's what I do and I'm fine. Doesn't do much for my passengers though. LMAO Great job buddy, this is a beauty and I'm glad you made it.

Try it in the snow in an 11-ton truck! Tell the truth. You know, about the awesome pub at the end of the road ;o)

Great shot mate. Wish I was there.

Gordon.

I know just how you feel, I have the same problem. And going over tall bridges is just as bad! LOL. You managed to get a very good point and shoot image (with editing) Far better than I ever got in an open door vehicle on the cliffs of Rhodes, Greece!!
