I renedered this kinda brown one bit never looked right so changed the rgb to blue, I then changed the bit that never looked right in the pre render and rendered the same colour. One gets deleted from here on Sunday this one to go or brown one to go. You decide!

My vote goes to this gorgeous blue creation, but then it is my favourite colour and looks stunning on my desktop. :)

I like both!! So many different planes, dimensions. Both went straight to my HD for future use. Very nice work, Ian!

Take away the brown. Leave this beautiful blue! I love the 3D feel in the design! Really cool and different Ian! PLEASE leave the blue! +fav'd

We don’t make art to show someone what something looks like. All this requires is eyes (or a lens). Art is supposed to have meaning, emotion, power, or magic. Alan & Mario "FourThirds"

I am so sorry, but I can´t be of any help choosing one of them because I like both of them :-) I like the 3D look and the almost industrial look of it. Great work!

I cast my vote for this version here Ian.

Wonderfully clean render ... no errant lines ... very good placement and composition. I like this one a lot.

+favs for me.

/\ Just in case I forget ... now, where was I?

Lol. Just kidding a bit, not like I am going to forget to place some additional words.

You also created a nice sense of movement with shapes round the central structure. And what really amazes me ... is that you are the first to offer up a piece of 'pie' ... that I truly enjoy. Or at least that is the variation that my eyes are seeing, besides your beloved fan.

A big ... big, well done on your efforts here. In fact, going to save it to my HDD. In the event ... it gets the axe.

And but of course, thank you for sharing this one with us.

This is for sure a true blooooo jewel! There is a sense of whimsy and dance to this creation. It's as tho the jewel has light reflecting thru it, casting wonderful shadows. Thanx so very much for a very exciting posting, will love it filling my monitor!! Verena

Life is so often made up of a little of what we do see--and a great deal of what we do not.
