On my long walk today (July 26, 2015), of only 6 miles along the Boardwalk up the the lock, cross of ther gate of the lock and onto Whitefish Island. I love walking around the island.

Anyway, this Cabin Cruiser came past us heading up to the Sault Ste. Marie Historical Lock to go up towards Lake Superior. Just thought the boat had nice body lines & looked so nice against the water and background.

This made me think of the song: Cruising Down the River, but of course the boat was going up the river & not down also it was a Sunday late morning for me, lol.

Cropped this image at the top and bottom, brought out more detail in Adobe Photoshop Elements 10. Used iPiccy.com Did not touch the colour at all.

That is a very expensive boat Pat - I see that type frequently on the lakes here in northern Illinois and southern Wisconsin and they go incredibley fast which you captured very well.

i like the series of bridges in the background more so..just because im a bridge nut. the boat stopped in action is just a bonus my friend. i think you have a great shot here with or without the boat.
