Still on our walk and passing a beautiful park called Bryant Park. Of course our daughter told me on Facebook, we go on a cruise and what do we find, a rink, lol. Me being a retired Figure Skating Coach of 30 years and my husband a retired Olympic & World Figure Skating Judge of course what else would we do, lol.

So I just had to take a picture and loved the reflections in the water cover ice surface. As you see they still had the Christmas tree up. The reason for the water on the ice is because it was 11.5C/52F that evening.

Hope you are enjoying our walk before boarding the cruise ship tomorrow. Thank you for your time and Comments most Welcomed

Have a Great Day and Enjoy, ♥ Skates

I'll be back a little later, as my husband calls it I'm on Zoe duty. Have to pick her up at school and after dinner off to the Conservatory of Music for her Orchestra lesson.

This a beautiful rink, you would think there would be more people on it. Must have been to cold. It made a gorgeous photo though. Thanks for sharing.

What a thrill to find this wonderful rink, complete with reflection of the lovely tree.

I watched a video of Torvill & Dean dancing their famous Bolero just a few days ago and it still sends shivers down my spine after all these years.

My thanks to all who leave comments for my work and to those of you who like one enough to make it a favourite. To touch just one person that way makes each image worthwhile. . . . . . . . . .. . . . "The question is not what you look at, but what you see" ~ Marcel Proust

Imagine that! A skating rink photo from our Lady of the Frozen North! ;oP Too bad this isn't video, else we'd get to see the triple lutz these three traffic cones are just completing. [oD

All goofing aside, Pat, great control of lighting contrast in this shot... we can see the reflections in the right ice as well as the brickwork and interior details in the dark building at the top. bd bd bd (six thumbs up... me and my two border collies :).
