Well one of my daily visitors at the suet feeder, she is waiting her turn. I you view in full you can see this is the Female Pileated Woodpecker because there is no red on the cheek near the beak, which the male has. See the differences by Clicking Here
Well I'm off to a skating competition in Lansing Michigan, so will be pretty busy since I'm a Music Coordinator for the US Figure Skating. If I have some time I'll check in from time to time.

These are such cool and birds, I see them around here sometimes, and some will even visit the feeder. Have a fun at the event. tigs=^..^=

That is the brightest red crest I've ever seen on a woodpecker or any kind of bird, wow! Almost looks like she's wearing a red pom-pom for a winter stocking cap.
