Green for most of their life, the extremities of most trees reach their climax at this time of year and go through a delightfully vibrant explosion. Just as the leaves grow pleasantly beautiful as they age and pass on... so do many other aspects of life. Take these tracks... quickly becoming an artifact of the past, but still somewhat magnificent in a way. (if you ask me)

Indeed, interesting perspective..and I like the play of the light on the rail and the ties. Nice capture.

I saw this in the Voting Booth and wanted to send a few words your way.

First, allow me to say this ... I took a quick tour of your galleries and there are some very strong and unique pieces contained therein. Visually stunning some, in that much like with this shot here ... you manage to provoke some thought and ideas at looking at things differently. That ... is a great thing.

Caveats? Oh, minor and thoughts spoken out loud at best.

If ... if you had managed to find a setting, in which the left-hand side as it appears now ... was more or less duplicated on the right? Read; no distractions such as the building structures and more foliage to close the gaps that appear as is. The wow factor would have been kicked up more than just a few notches.

I still really enjoy this, make no mistake about that. And I am really looking forward to spending some more time in your galleries. Thank you for sharing your obvious talents.

I love the perspective of this this shot. The tracks appear as if they go on forever. And that sky is gorgeous. I also love the trees along either side of the tracks. Leads the eye down the tracks. Great shot.

Hi Jeff

Just spotted this pic browsing the galleries, and it's an absolute cracker of a shot mate! Was thinking of doing a similar shoot myself, and can I ask, did you rest the camera on the rail to take this pic?

Paul :)
