I don't expect this to score well in the voting booth, but I'm ok with that. This was taken 2 years ago in the Salisbury Cathedral, about 2-3 hours north of London. This cathedral was built in the 1200s and is nearly 450 feet tall, making it the tallest cathedral in the UK. It was a glorious structure. This was a 2-second exposure of the main area soon after you walk in. Just wanted to share it :)

Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrreat perspective. If I sees it the VB, I gives it a high score.

Ehh ... this might sound like a very pedestrian suggestion, however, forging ahead ...

If you wished to isolate the structure/Cathedral some more, from that of the human counterparts present and within frame ... perhaps a B & W version might fit the bill?

That said, I like it. :o)

Good good perspective and given the time exposure ... remarkably clear. (As I suspect that this was shot 'hand held'ish'?)

The Cathedral is an astounding work of art and craftmanship. And you did it some justice. Perhaps, and then ... some.

Thanks for sharing this one with us. :o)

An excellent shot brimming with interesting detail. Not easy lighting conditions, either. Well done to you!

I love interior shots of churches and cathedrals. This is one of the best.
