Thanks all. I've never heard of lupines, so probably not. Bluebonnets are native to pretty much just Texas.

actually their scientific name is Lupensis Texansis or similar, so I'd guess in the least they'd likely be in the same family.
I think perhaps the green balance is a bit too strong here or perhaps a bit too bright for the color the leaves should be...nonetheless
