I couldn't pass this one of our granddaughter sitting near the wood stove next to a rare spot of sunlight coming through the window. I aged it a bit into a B&W. Remarks are welcome for sure..
Again well done Joe. You've captured that ability of children to be totally absorbed in simple things, as they are exploring that relatively new environment that is planet earth. Your composition, the sunlit wood floor, and your B&W treatment are great. I love how she is partially in the shadow and partially in the sunlight, expressing the child's emerging understanding of the world around her.
