The underlying attraction of the movement of water and sand is biological. If we look more deeply we can see it as the basis of an abstract idea linking ourselves with the limitless mechanics of the universe. - Sir Geoffrey Jellicoe: After this shot we hit the road, which was interstate 70 in Utah. Enjoy your day. Dwight.

Both of these were wonderful shots, but I believe I like this one even better than the first. Kudos on a great job! :)

The work of art may have a moral effect, but to demand moral purpose from an artist is to make him ruin his work. (Johann Wolfgang von Goethe - 1832)

Now that is what I call dramatic. 8^) A little grainy though. Did you scan it in from a photo?

Dramatic. I like the contrast between the red rock and the black sky. Can even see sheets of rain falling in the distance. Where was this taken?

I loved the thumbnail of it, but on the higher resolutions it looks a bit grainy. Still a great picture

Beautiful image, Dwight. I'm glad you had the opportunity to visit some of our beautiful country. If you haven't visited Lake Powell yet, you really need to.

I like the shot but really, it's not very sharp. If it was sharp, I would keep it as a favorite.
