Coral? Sea Anenome?? Can you guess what I am? This was taken at the Monterey Bay Aquarium in May. I had taken my grandkids and my camera for a day of fun.I would like comments on composition, lighting, etc, as I am VERY NEW to photography...and no date stamp this time. Yippee! Progress made already. ***Squid Eggs***

I'm no sea expert, nor am I a professional photographer..just learning on here as well. I do know that it's hard to take picture through glass under water, so I'd say you did a good job on this one :)

I think the lighting is very cool on this. I'm learning myself but it could be a little more sharp. Considering it was taken through a glass, you did a really good job. Thanks for sharing.

heheh whatever it is, it looks good floating around in the aquarium. could be a bit sharper i agree, but not bad if you are new to photography. you should get plenty of hints and tips around here.. good job!

I rather like the murky edges of this image. The water in which the anenome lives if full of salt and tiny particles. I think this is very fine and beautiful.
