The tolls for transit were: - For each four-wheel drive or vehicle, stretched with no more than one horse: 5 cents - For a cart or vehicle strung with one horse, ox, bull or mule: 4 cents - For each four-wheeled driving or vehicle, strung with several horses, for each horse: 3 cents. - For each saddled horse: 2 cents. For each unsaddled horse: 1/2 cent - For each piece of horn cattle, large or small and of which age: 1 cent. - For every pig, young and old and which is driven: 1/2 cent. - For each donkey, stretched or not stretched: 1 cent. - For a dog cart or cart, strung with one or more dogs: 1 cent. - For a sheep: 1 cent. - For a flock of sheep for every five pieces: 1 cent (rates 1847).

By reading quickly your narrative, you've brought me in troubles, Jaap, because I've only one pig with me while crossing the border, because 1/2 cents aren't available anymore, ☺ .
On closer look I've read that this was only valid in 1847. What a relief, ☺.
