I'm 17 and don't travel much. But I tend to bring my camera around just to catch what sticks out from my everyday goings. (pardon me if I speak my mind)

this is a great idea...just the wrong season! the actual water looks great though! I agree with bcbird on this one...like to see it again during a different season. :)
It's not a bad picture but had I taken it I would never have posted it. It would make a great spring or summer shot but the tangled brush just doesn't do it. Sorry but that's my opinion.
I would rather live my life as if there is a God and die to find out there isn't, than live my life as if there isn't and die to find out there is.

I would have loved to be standing where this picture was taken. Nature is so beautiful to just sit and take in its beauty. This will make a fantastic desktop. Thanks for sharing.
As much as I can see what some of the above commentators are trying to convey ... I think I side with Chellie on this one.
You have presented some very natural colour saturation in your image here, and the movement of the water is quite hypnotic.
True ... there is a lot of visual detail and some may find that somewhat distracting. My own caveats would be ... to have used some sort of steadying perch or tripod. Simply put. Your exposure time on this one makes it a challenging shot to capture in pristeen detail.
Actually given that fact ... this image is quite good.
Now ... taking allll of my words and those above ... I believe 'we' are requesting a revisit to this setting if the opportunity presents itself. Sooo? What are you waiting for? :oP
Kidding, a little of course. From the works that are in your gallery thus far ... I would say that despite the fact that you view this as a hobby with your current equipment ... you do show an 'eye' for composition.
I hope you continue to present to us more of your hobbyists' works. I like them. :o)
I agree with some of the other posts, the brush clutters it, and isn't that visually appealing, however, the water looks amazing, even though it's brown. Also, a bit on the dark side.
Peace.
I would like to see this shot taken at a different time of the year
