This beach extends for several miles adjacent to a wildlife preserve. It affords me a place to walk each day in an uncrowded and tranquil setting with wonderful views of the West Maui Mountains. I used Photoshop Elements 4.0 to make this panorama from four hand-held shots. I hope you enjoy it.

Sometimes a picture just leaps out at one - as does this one. It is a beautifully composed picture with great colours all complimenting each other so well. Extra marks for capturing it with the magnificently placed cloud formation.
I think this is superb

What an absolutley splendid scene to look upon and so great a job for hand held photography and I am really amazed by what can be done with stitching. This is like being there is person. Thanks, JoAnn, this is wonderful!

You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being. - Hermes

This is outstanding JoAnn, when I saw the mountains I thought it was a fractal. The colors and scene are great. What a wonderful view you have there to enjoy.

What a great shot JoAnn, I love footprints in the sand and you got that plus the most amazing landscape. This is one beach I'd love to visit.

Spectacular capture, JoAnn! I'm in awe...really! I love the crisp green patches, and the sand and water look so inviting. Tranquil, yes, but those majestic mountains and hovering clouds add so much drama too. Very well done! Into my favs+

I too, have perused your wonderful gallery, filled with lovely landscapes, florals and fractals. I almost posted a comment on "fantasy flower", until I noticed I done so previously..lol

Thank you for sharing :)
