I'm still waiting to capture the perfect sunset on this beautiful island, but I hope you enjoy this one anyway. All comments or suggestions will be appreciated.
"I never looked for it, gave it no name; yet I knew it always, when the gift of peace came. I stood quite still for the moment that it lasted...Then the light shifted slightly and the moment passed, leaving me...with the lasting echo of its presence.." Diana Gabaldon
JoAnn, looking at your image in full resolution really enhances the dozens of different colours in that beautiful sky. I like too how you've captured the two boats on the horizon. Lucky you, visiting such a picturesque island.
Hi JoAnn! The feel of being in an exotic place really comes through in this image. The clouds are remarkable as are the colors. The image looks like a pano almost. A very lovely capture. I hope you are having a most enjoyable time there.
You will be led to the knowledge of the internal things which are invisible to you, by the external things which you see before you. . . . Even so then, we can represent to ourselves in thought the Author of all that is, by contemplating and admiring the (visible) things which He has made, and ever brings into being.

Is there such a thing as a perfect sunset? I couldn't decide on which one since I love them all. This one is no exception. You've captured it well, the palm tree and clouds are what gives this something special as a photo. Well done!
A beautiful sunset ~ it gives me a feeling of warmth & peacefulness. The silhouetted palm tree gives the image so much depth too. A very lovely scene & you captured it superbly.
You are in Maui taking beatiful photos like this, and I am in Missouri during an ice storm? How dare you tease me with this beautiful sunset. The palm tree adds so much to this already perfect photo. Great work. I will go back to taking frozen bird photos.
Just as soon as ya think ya have captured it....There's one better, either 3 min. later....or 3 days later. THEY are ALL Maginificat!! And, one of my favorite things! This one is Super JoAnn. The Sailboat really makes it. :-) Aside form the magnificant colors of the SUNSET!! :-)
